Miles Merrills - SLAM POETRY WORDSHOPS

THE PERFORMER

Legendary verse spinner Miles Merrill mixes spoken-word with surreal vocal FX and wild narratives. THE PERFORMANCE

Think you know what poetry is all about? Think again. Theatre, hip-hop, spoken-word, lyrics or whatever else you call it, Word Travels rips the label off the poetry jar. You like acting but you're tired of reciting someone else's ideas. You like singing but are sick of covers. It's time to perform what you write. In his stunning one-man show, Word Travels, Miles will free your mind and your pen.

Slam Poetry Wordshops mix creative writing and drama with poetry, to produce a high-powered explosion of live literary theatre. See the confidence and self-esteem of your students soar as they gain a new respect for their own creative process. Students may get a chance to be recorded for radio.
